This is definitely one of my favorite graduation sessions to date at Vanderbilt. We popped champagne, had lots of laughs, and did some high school musical jumping photos. Check out these AMAZING photos.
Rachana is graduating from Vanderbilt this semester (Fall 2020 – what a year) and is actually graduating a whole semester earlier than planned! She majored in Medicine, Health, and Society at Vanderbilt and is continuing her studies at the University of Miami in Florida at their nursing school in January and is so excited for what the future holds for her there.
Anddddd not only is she incredibly intelligent and talented, but she’s also incredibly kind and stunning (I mean just look at these photos). She killed her session AND she grabbed her roommates to join in on some of the photos! She and her roommates been living off campus at Vanderbilt this semester, and because of COVID, have spent lots of time there with each other and hanging out, creating some deep friendships, which made this session a BLAST (I can’t tell you how important it is to be deeply connected with people you take photos with! It changes everything). We took tons of cute roommate photos and it was honestly just a blast — I loved spending time with her friends.
After twenty minutes or so, we kicked out the roommates and Rachana and I took some more photos at Wyatt and then ventured over to Kirkland Hall followed by her freshman home — Sutherland. And y’all, Rachana freaking did so well and looked stunning the entire session long. We got to chat the entire time, and I learned that she knew my roommate, Alexa, (if you don’t know her from Novel Hand, what are you doing) along with several of my other friends (most notably Camille, who was her sorority big). Rachana even held ADPI’s philanthropy event the year after Alexa hosted it! We love mutual friends (oh, and I sent a few photos of her over to my friend Olivia, who then told me that she played field hockey too! We love a well rounded student ahahah). Rachana is just so popular apparently What a STAR.
Rachana is just so sweet, fun, wonderful, kind, and passionate, and I’m so excited to see where the whirlwind of nursing school takes her. These photos were just such a blast to take and I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed taking them!
