Wedding | Hermitage Golf Course, Old Hickory, TN

Hunter and Sydney met at Vanderbilt in 2017 – they lived in the same freshman dorm and quickly became friends because they both played soccer. However, they became such great friends that they won their freshman dorm award for “Most Likely to Get Married in 10 Years” – and here we are seeing the fruit of that award (they even set out the award at their wedding so guests could see it with their own eyes!).

Celebrating Mr. and Mrs. Spivey was so easy and fun, and their day was full of sweet little moments. Although the sun was blaring hot (seriously, it was some wicked heat), their guests showed up and used their fans as best they could, we hung out with some sheep that were allowed to roam free on the premises, we got to partake in a stunning sunset over the golf course, and the dance floor never stopped (this was also the first night I learned the dance to Hot To Go and let me tell you – I’ll never forget that moment!).

From tears during the first look and private vows to pure joy as they ran through their sparkler exit – there wasn’t a moment that these two didn’t simply sit and exist and enjoy. What an honor it was to capture their day and be a part of it!! Huge cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Hunter and Sydney Spivey!!
