Meeting people online can be kinda scary and awkward, especially as a photographer. After I had booked my trip to Idaho, I decided to reach out to some couples around there and ask if they wanted to model for me. Some of them didn’t respond, probably thinking that this was a fake thing. Some were a little on the edge, and responded a couple of times. But two families did answer, and I’m so glad I met them both!
Braden and Alexa were one of these couples. They had recently gone to the sand dunes in Idaho and tagged their post to that location. As I was looking for couples, I was using the locations in the area that were beautiful to find people to take photos of (maybe this is creepy? But I think it’s smart and a fun way to find people) and I came across their account and just loved who they were! I messaged them, and from there we planned this morning shoot at Beaver Dick Park.
And y’all. We had a blast. The Whitneys picked me up from the apartment where I was staying and we drove out and just talked about Seattle (where Braden is from) and California (where Alexa is from) and Nashville (because Alexa is in LOVE with Nashville). We talked about Thomas Rhett (obviously. No one is as important as he is) and honestly, I just had a really fun time hanging out with them and getting to know them better.
Alexa is head over heels in love with Nashville. She’s been wanting to go there for a very long time and I’m so excited for them to plan a trip soon to come down here (and so I can be their tour guide and do everything with them!! hehehehehe ). She loves country music a lot and really just wants to roam the streets of our lovely town. I’m honestly pumped to see them again one day!
All this to say, the three of us had a BLAST hanging out and taking photos. These two are intentional, kind, hilarious, fun, sweet, stunning (like seriously, omg) and just encouraging about everything. I’m glad our paths have crossed and excited to have them cross again! Check these photos out only if you’re ready for some SERIOUS BEAUTY.
