Wedding | The Barn at Firefly Lane, Nashville, Tennessee
Michael and Frankie are MARRIED and their wedding was such a freakin’ party. These two met back in high school, dated through college, got engaged not too long ago, and are now husband and life and it’s just the cutest story. But okay — their wedding day was FLAWLESS and so well coordinated. Amazing food (even a food truck!! like WHAT), delicious desserts (macarons, cake, a donut wall, ALL THE THINGS), the best wedding squad (who rocked the dance floor nonstop), an amazing and supportive family, STUNNING flowers, and all set at the most beautiful venue. An 11/10 day and keep reading for all the details!
The Barn at Firefly Lane has two lovely rooms on opposite sides of the barn for the wedding party to get ready in and y’all — it was a LOVELY time! Frankie got the girls matching robes and they jammed to music as they got their hair and makeup done, while the men chilled around and helped with the final set-up in whatever ways they could.
But finally it came time for Frankie to step into her wedding dress, and OH MAN y’all she looked gorgeous in it. The back had beautiful and elegant buttons and her sweet mom helped her into the dress and it was truly such a precious moment. Her bridesmaids cried when they saw her for the first time, and her precious dad couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw her all dressed up and ready to walk down the aisle. SUCH a sweet moment oh goodness.
Since Frankie and Michael weren’t going to have a first look, they decided to have a first touch, where they stood on opposite sides of a door, back to back, and chatted and read sweet letters to each other. It was absolutely precious and intimate, and these two giggled like fifth graders in love — it was just so fun to witness and to see their love for each other. After this, their wedding squad came out and we took some fun best friend photos before sweet dad prayed over and thanked the bridesmaids for being in Frankie’s life (so CUTE right? definitely one of my favorite parts of the entire day).
And then came the sweetest part of the day — the ceremony. The details were perfect from the florals and the arch to the cute little water bottles at the aisle entrance. The officiant reminded the two of what marriage was truly about, shared sweet stories, and finally pronounced the two as husband and wife and the celebration was immediate and FULL by all their family and friends! What a sweet sweet day!!
After the ceremony we took family portraits, wedding party photos, and my favorite part — bride and groom photos. These two NAILED IT and I’m obsessed with how in love they are with each other and how you can see their endless joy so easily!!
And then it was ALL THE FUN THINGS. These two shared a sweet first dance with each other and their respective parents, had the sweetest words spoken over them during the toasts, had A FOOD TRUCK catering the wedding (literally SO FREAKIN’ CUTE AND DELICIOUS WHATTT), and danced all night (well, afternoon) long. WHAT A CELEBRATION!! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Kindy and may there be so so many years of marriage ahead full of laughter and joy and deep deep friendship!!
