Daniel and Sarah are truly the dream team and I’m so glad that I got to spend some time with them and take their engagement photos in Nashville, and it just gave me a GLIMPSE of how epic their wedding is going to be next year in Texas!
Sarah actually lives in Texas and is a teacher, and Daniel lives in Memphis and is currently in med school. For her spring break, Sarah flew up to Memphis to visit Daniel, and then the both of them drove up together to Nashville to take photos with me! Literally the best humans EVER for driving so far to hang out with me and to trust me with their photos (thank you guys!!!).
It was Sarah’s first time in Nashville (we love our newbies!), and we hit up Bicentennial State Park which is honestly a great place to have a session if you want to hit a park and also be able to see a little bit of Nashville. From the park, you can see the State Capitol Building (which is on the hill across the street) and the drive to anywhere from there brings you through some of the must sees of Nashville! Plus, it’s just a beautiful and classy park in general and there are so many amazing areas to take stunning photos at.
But okay — y’all Sarah and Daniel are hilarious and amazing. We truly couldn’t stop laughing the entire session. Daniel took EVERYTHING that I said literally (I said “hop on over behind Sarah” and this man decides he will hop like a little bunny over I couldn’t stop laughing) and these two together just lit up the park like no one else. They have the best model poses around, and they truly just love each other and you can just see it in every photo and in the way they look at each other.
After the session, they treated me to a lunch at Edley’s, where Sarah had hot chicken for the first time (don’t yell at us for not going to Prince’s or Hattie B’s — I apologize for us in advance) and she loved it (along with their epic banana pudding). We got to talk about our favorite books, ASB, DNR, and just so many things, and I’m so glad I got to hear about their lives and just catch up with these two humans 🙂 (Oh and fun fact, Sarah and I share a birthday in March!!) Exciting things haha, but really these two are one in a million and how did I get so BLESSED to be a part of their wedding journey??!?!?!?! I’m so grateful and honored
