There are some clients who I meet for the first time and they IMMEDIATELY just feel like old friends, and chatting with them seems like the easiest and best thing in the world — Kenzie and Tyler felt exactly like that.
Kenzie reached out to me wayyyy back — and our consultation call was so so FUN! She’s a giant presence of joy and energy, full of laughter and just so easygoing. As we chatted, we realized that we had lots of mutual friends and had probably been in the same room at some point in our lives, and she even popped over to her roommate’s room in the middle of our call when we realized that I even knew her! I love the random connections Kenzie is seriously just so fun and down-to-earth, and her joy for donkeys is outrageously cute. I even got to meet her in person not long after our phone call (I was delivering cake pops to friends in Nashville for my Sabbath!) and she’s just as sweet and amazing in person as she was over FaceTime. What a GEM — I’m so glad that our paths have crossed in life.
Soooo fast forward to her and Tyler’s engagement session! She decided that she wanted a location that was different from their wedding venue — a wedding venue filled with donkeys, lots of beautiful views, and just tons of nature. So, we settled on a session with small town vibes — lots of store windows and reflections, cute sidewalks and walls, and neon lights. However, her sweet mama also wanted a family session right before their engagement session, and so we met at a park nearby and ended up doing some engagement photos there as well before heading to the small town nearby!
Tyler and Kenzie are truly one in a million. They have the best serious faces, the most precious smiles, lots of love for each other, and are getting MARRIED in August!! I honestly can’t wait for their wedding, because these two are just made for each other. They make photos look so so easy and natural and I’m so honored to be a part of their day. August, here we come!!
