Wedding | The Venue at Birchwood, Nashville, Tennessee

Derek & Katie felt like old friends by the time we had reached their wedding day — from running into Katie at a coffeeshop (and forgetting who she was 😅 literally so sorry Katie that’s my new embarrassing story for everything now) to their lovely engagement session where they even brought their dog, Quinto — I’ve really felt like I got to walk through their engagement season with them.

These two are so kind and compassionate and so rich in grace and warmth. Meeting their families and friends and watching them be so easily and hugely celebrated was such a joy, and I’m so glad I had the privilege of photographing their beautiful fall wedding day.
