Wedding | Scarritt Bennett Center & Ruby Nashville, Nashville, Tennessee
It’s taken me a second to write this blog post, but I can remember Bryce & Kathryn’s wedding like it was yesterday. This beautiful sunny day started out with the girls getting ready at The Gallatin in Nashville where they had a fabulous time eating Chick Fil A and just catching up with each other and hyping Kathryn up. After taking some lovely photos there (y’all, that place is GORGEOUS and if you’re trying to find a convenient and beautiful location to have your “getting ready” time for your wedding day, definitely check The Gallatin out!), we headed over to Scarritt Bennett and that’s where the magic began.
At Scarritt Bennett, Kathryn and Bryce both got dressed, her bridesmaids freaked out when they saw her for the first time, and her sweet dad enjoyed his first look with her — his oldest daughter all dressed up and about to be married.
Anddd then we headed over to their first look with each other, and man oh man this time was special. The Wightman Chapel at Scarritt Bennett is STUNNING and the ambience it created was special and regal and you could just FEEL the emotions rising as these two saw each other in their wedding attire for the first time. What a SWEET time with the almost newlyweds! And after we finished their photos, their closest friends crashed and it was a total blast!
Their ceremony was BEAUTIFUL. The officiant had known Kathryn for a long time (actually, since she was 15 months old!) and sweet Bryce cried tears of joy as he watched his bride walk down the aisle toward him. Everyone cheered and clapped as they were pronounced husband and wife, and the rest of the day was a joyous celebration!
They finished the partAY off at the lovely Ruby — a venue in Nashville just down the road from the Scarritt Bennett Center. Here they shared their first dance, a cry-worthy father/daughter dance, an AMAZINGLY choreographed mother/son dance, and the best dance party to ever be seen! They left in a vintage car with ribbons waving them away and truly this evening was just the sweetest and the best. I’m so honored I got to be a part of it and to gain two sweet friends in this whole process, and a HUGE congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Bryce & Kathryn Davis!!
