Guys, I don’t even know where to start. How do you talk about one of the most beautiful weddings that you’ve ever attended? How do you share about a couple who is one in a million and who loves deeply and wonderfully? How do you put all of their love and joy and emotion and excitement and friendship into words on the Internet? I don’t know, but I’m going to try to explain this beautiful day with you anyway, so keep reading

First off, meet Omar and Crystal. These two are the definition of love and joy, and their mere presence just provides so much laughter and intentionality. Truly, they light up every room they walk into and I’m so thankful that I got to meet them and walk part of their wedding season with them. It’s been an honor and a joy! (also they had the CUTEST first look!!)
The two of them first met at a small get together with some of Omar’s work colleagues, and sparks started flying from right there. Fast forward, and Omar proposed on a hotel balcony in New York City, and fast forward a bit more — they had a very intimate ceremony (during COVID) in Brooklyn with their closest family cheering them on. Omar’s mom even married them!
SOOOO fast forward a lot more to March 14, 2021. It was a beautiful and sunny day in Fayetteville, and Crystal and Omar invited their friends and family to a cocktail hour and reception to celebrate their marriage so far. Their wedding motto, taken from Chance the Rapper, was, “I don’t want nobody to be at my wedding, that won’t be there for my marriage” and they firmly believe their day lived up to that truth. Their friends and family have celebrated and cheered on their marriage since the beginning, and this wedding was just a fun party to have with all of them.
BUT OKAY WEDDING. Crystal and Omar rocked the most beautiful outfits ever. Crystal’s dress was JAW-DROPPINGLY GORGEOUS and the bow on the back was *chef’s kiss* and just the perfect touch. Omar’s jacket was a dark olive green and mannn — he rocked it! Their first look together was so precious and heart-warming and you could just tell how deeply these two honored and loved and cared for each other. My heart is melting just thinking about it again . Andddd their sunset portraits were an adventure for the books — full of their precious intimate love ❤️❤️
The cocktail hour was so fun and full of family photos, amazing drinks, good conversations, and a cute photo guestbook! Anddddd the reception hall was STUNNING, with the most beautiful florals done by Brandy (also the venue owner), tons of candles and cute glassware, beautiful table decor, and more! It was like a magical paradise, and I know Crystal and Omar loved every bit of it. Shoutout to Sweet Magnolia Weddings for helping the day run smoothly as well!
The dinner and the rest of the evening was the life of the night. The DJ played some fantastic music, everyone was dancing and having a good time, and the food was amazing and delicious (they had fried plantains and WOW they were outstanding!). From the photobooth to the incredible send-off to everything in between, these two just had a dynamite day being celebrated by their friends and family, and I’m so excited that we got to celebrate them! Check out these rad photos to just have a GLIMPSE into their wonderful wedding day!!
