Let me tell you — when God steps into your life and orchestrates events that blow your mind away, you’re going to want to talk about it. So lean in close, and let me tell you about Quinton and Hannah, the future Hoffmans!
Quinton and Hannah met at Vanderbilt in the Fall of 2016, when Quinton was a freshman and Hannah was a sophomore. Hannah was an RA, a Resident Advisor, in the same freshman dorm (different floor) that Quinton was living in — Crawford. A huge friend group formed between the two floors (obviously including Quinton and Hannah!!) and this group did EVERYTHING together. Quinton and Hannah really clicked in this friend group, and one of their first long conversations together occurred when Hannah volunteered to drive Quinton home to Birmingham on her way down to Florida — three hours of uninterrupted and good conversation.
Obviously, these two quickly fell for each other. After Hannah checked with all the RA rules (she didn’t want to accidentally break any contract rules by dating a resident ) these two started dating in the Spring of 2017 and they haven’t looked back since. They’ve made it through summers of long distance, months of grad schools and jobs, and losses of loved ones, and they are still just so excited to just be with each other and celebrate how God has intentionally orchestrated their friendship and love.
(Okay — quick check in. I’m TEARING UP! Are you??).
Fast forward to 2020 — Quinton proposed at the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville (where they had their first date!) and now they’re getting married in July of 2021. These two are just so ready to get this show on the road and I’m STOKED to hang out with them and document this sweet day for them 🙂
In light of that, we headed out this week to Downtown Franklin to get some cozy wintery photos of the two of them. Quinton and Hannah brought their favorite mugs and drank hot cocoa, cuddling up next to each other to celebrate their engagement. We walked around the lovely streets of Downtown Franklin and just talked about their future and their wedding and had soooo much fun! This session was full of giggles and warmth, and truly NOTHING can light up the streets of Franklin like these two.
I’m so so excited for the soon-to-be Hoffmans!! These photos were the perfect taste of what’s to come 🙂
