Graduation | The Park at Harlinsdale Farm, Franklin, Tennessee
Celebrating graduates is always one of my favorite things — these students have worked so hard to get through years of school, late nights, and the hardest tests. College is a lot of failing and learning, working through the harder things in life, and just choosing to persevere through it all even if it’s chaotic and messy. It’s one of the biggest achievements that people make throughout their lives, and it’s usually within the first 25 years of your life. And that is ALWAYS worth celebrating.
But celebrating graduations in 2020 has been even sweeter to be a part of. Not only did I get to graduate this year (and so I’ve gotten to see all the hard work and tears that go into working your butt off for years), but it’s also just GOOD to know that there are still good things happening this year, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s beautiful to see that our hard work can still pay off. That we are doing all of this for something. That we can still reach for our dreams and achieve them.
And so when Megan reached out to have her graduation session, I was over-the-moon excited to hang out with her and celebrate her achievement. She just graduated from Radford University with her BSN (we love our nurses!!) with her next steps of interviewing at hospitals and taking the NCLEX. She’s worked so hard for this degree and we talked about how thankful she was that she had the ability to do her clinicals in-person this semester, even with the pandemic going on. I’m so so excited to see what her future holds for her in this field and what amazing hospital is going to be even better with her working for them.
Megan is also STUNNING and these photos are just ridiculously beautiful. LIKE WHAT. We had so much fun adventuring the area of Harlinsdale Farm and taking photos of this beautiful queen. She freakin’ KILLED the session and danggggg the results are just WOWWOWOW. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed taking them!!
