Y’all, these photos of Lindsay are just so precious and I’m just so proud of this girl and all of her hard work! Lindsay will be graduating from UTK (yes, the real UT, sorry Texas) this fall with a major in marketing and a collateral in Human Resources Management. But okayyyy oh man. Where do I even begin with this girl? Lindsay and I became friends back in 4th grade when we were in the same elementary school class (shoutout to Ms. Harrison! Who I actually ran into a few months ago on 12 South woo!). She was the sweetest girl back in the day and she still is — kind, considerate, hilarious, and just the coolest. Before the session, I was on the phone with a friend and trying to tell her how I knew Lindsay and what Lindsay was like, and I ended up telling her about the time that Lindsay and I and a couple of other friends had to film part of The Odyssey — in her backyard, our freshman year of high school. Oh man. What a TIME to be alive – those videos and pictures were priceless. We were BABIES oh dang. So young and carefree.

I took some fabulous headshots of Lindsay earlier this summer in Nashville, and so she called me up for this grad session in Knoxville and it was a PARTAY. I’m so pumped that she’s graduating so SOON!!

AND SHE BROUGHT ALONG THE BEST SURPRISE TO THE SESSION (besides her very aesthetic and cute outfits)…CLARITA!!! I honestly can’t remember the first time I met Clari, but it was wayyyyy back in the day. She is a talented, fun, beautiful, sweet, and kind friend and she rescheduled two meetings in order to be Lindsay’s personal stylist and hype woman for the evening — I honestly should hire her for every session because she did SUCH A GOOD JOB. Ugh, I’m just so happy that I got to see both of them in the short time I was in Knoxville.
