I met Lex when she was two years old — YES, TWO YEARS OLD. When I was seven, my parents moved to Brentwood from Nashville, and we moved into this cute little house across the street from Lexi and her family. Her two oldest siblings are the same age as me, and we used to walk to school together back in second grade, and at the time, Lexi was still a little baby. Hailey, Lexi’s older sister, and I have become really close friends since we are neighbors (and since Hail introduced me to the beauty of country music), and whenever we are both in town we either hit up Sonic for some late night ice cream (yes, we are talking 8pm) or we go to First Watch for some good ole’ breakfast.
Buttttt, I just absolutely cannot believe that Lexi is going into her senior year of high school! LIKE WHAT EVEN. Where have all the years gone? (Yes, I know I sound like an 80 year old grandma complaining about the time, but still, I’m so confused).
Lexi and Hailey have done sooo many shoots with me through the years. They were some of my first models, and whenever I got a new camera, a new lens, or any new equipment, I would just text them if we could head down the road and take some photos to try everything out. We’ve done family photos, mini shoots, sister sessions, and I even took Hailey’s senior photos five years ago (FUN FACT: The green bracelet that Lexi wears in her senior photos is the same one that Hailey wore during her senior photos, and I teared up when I realized that. I love these sisters so much!!). Sooooooo it was really just sweet to take photos for Lexi and celebrate this season of her life.
Check these photos out! Lexi plays basketball for Ravenwood as well, so we incorporated her basketball and jersey into some of the photos. This woman is absolutely STUNNING and you don’t want to miss out on seeing these. Click through! And if you’re interested in your own senior session, click here for more information. I would love to chat with you!
