College Graduation | Vanderbilt University (Wyatt Center + Kirkland Hall)
Seeing these two friends in person felt UNREAL. But I’m so glad that we got to live together the past year (the past 3 years with Hannah) and I’m just sooo thankful for the both of them and how COOL our floor of the suite was. It was kind of bittersweet to be with them on campus without all the excitement of rooming together and moving in, but it was still just so GOOD to be with them for a couple of days!
These two drove down from Chicago to just spend a few days in Nashville and reminiscence on the city — eat at Fido (obviously), just wander around Nashville as a whole, walk through the newly done campus (we are lookin’ at you, Wyatt Lawn ) and visit Emily and I for a bit! We had a picnic lunch at Centennial Park and did this graduation session — and I’m soooo glad we did! We were just missing Alexa and Sam (our other amazing suitemates).
Hannah is one of a kind and I’m so thankful I started living with her our sophomore year of college. She is THE most hardworking human I know, and is so kind and generous with everything she has. (She also has the coolest parents everrrr and I really miss the fact that it’s August and we aren’t at SkyKing ). One of my favorite memories with Hannah (besides taco nights and seeing her working the desk in Sarratt) is that she invited me to one of her HOD classes for extra credit one year, and I had to do improv with some random guys. As much as the thought of improv terrifies me (I did NOT want to go), this was actually REALLY fun and I lowkey loved it. Good timesssss.
Jorie, on the other hand, I only met in person less than a year ago. She was pulled into our Kissam suite as well, and I don’t think we could have had a bigger blessing. She is the BEST (if you know her, you know exactly what I mean). She’s so freakin’ kind, hilarious, and intelligent andddd so humble about it. She will buy you a pinata for your birthday (shoutout to Sam too), will judge your balloon hanging technique, BUT will also help you hang up streamers and the balloons at the end of the day. She’s the most chill and wonderful human ever and I’m just so thankful to know her and I know our suite was just so blessed by her this year. She’s just so cool gah.
I’m literally just so thankful that I got to spend some time with these two this week. Check out these SWEET graduation photos of them. LITERALLY THEY ARE QUEENS WHAT EVEN.
