Mini Couples’ Session | Marcella Vivrette Smith Park, Brentwood, Tennessee
Meeting new people in Nashville is always a joy of mine, and Bekyy and Graham are my newest friends! They JUST moved here (in 2020!! What a crazy time to move to a new place, right?) and have already gotten situated in Nashville, by getting their own precious pup! Zuko is a PRECIOUS DOGGO and wow — a star in every photo he’s ever been in, this session included. He enjoyed being in front of the camera the entire time, and was just such a good boy!!!
Bekyy and Graham are also ridiculously awesome and KILLED their session. Bekyy wanted some version of holiday photos, so she bought a STUNNING wreath and we used that in our photos (that we strategically did in front of some pine trees to make it seem more Christmas-y and festive!). It worked out so dang well and these photos are just so BEAUTIFUL.
Oh, and I totally forgot to mention — Bekyy and Graham ARE ENGAGED. These were not engagement photos, but still such a blast.
Bekyy is a writer, book critic, and a huge traveler at heart. Her goal is to visit 30 countries by 30, and has already been to 28. LIKE WHAT. THAT’S SO MANY COUNTRIES (I just took a hot second and made a list and realized that I’ve been privileged enough to go to 10 countries and I’m grateful for that!! 30 sounds AMAZING though and might just be my new goal). Bekyy loves eating all different types of cuisine because of all of her travels, and she won’t settle for non-authentic food. It’s got to be the GOOD stuff. So we obviously talked food and I told them about my favorite Nashville restaurants 🙂
AND SPEAKING OF TRAVELING, Bekyy and Graham want to elope in Italy. I mean COME ON. That’s everything, right? I’m so excited to see their wedding photos and just celebrate them whenever COVID restrictions end and they can finally get over there. It’ll be such a sweet and wonderful day, but for now, if you know any photographers in Italy, let me know and I would love to pass their name to Graham and Bekyy! I mean it’s hard enough finding a photographer in the States, let alone in another country.
But honestly, this was such a fun session, and Bekyy, Graham, and Zuko’s energy was just everything we needed. These three bring so much joy and love and fun to the world (along with their dope passions) and I’m so thankful I got to meet them!! I hope you enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed taking them 🙂
