Couples Session | Narrows of the Harpeth, Kingston Springs, TN
Y’all……just ohmygoodness.
Rachel and I met through The Heart University. If you don’t know what that is, head over to the link to learn more! The Heart University is an online community and resource center for creative business entrepreneurs (like photographers!) to come together, cheer each other on, learn business tips and practices, and become better at posing, editing, and everything in between. It’s truly a beautiful, motivational, and encouraging community and I’m so glad I became a part of it this year! Rachel has been a part of The Heart for a few years now, and so we met via the Facebook group (Rachel asked if I could second shoot for her) and now our friendship has developed into sharing recipes, dumb jokes, encouragement, and even getting tea (and cream puffs!) at the Herban Market in Franklin. It’s been sweet to have another photographer friend who understands the business, lives in the area, who can share her knowledge with me and swap wedding stories together (yes, this is a thing photographers do. I don’t know why, but it’s so fun to talk about our clients and our failures and good things from wedding days). If you want to check out her work, click here.
Anyway, we met a while ago at the Herban Market and even did a mini session with each other there, grabbing some photos in that area of Franklin. It was suuuuuuper fun :). During that day date, Rachel told me about Chris, her boyfriend, and how they needed to do a session with me that fall. And so here we are!!! Y’ALL THIS SESSION WAS ONE FOR THE BOOKS.
Rachel and Chris went out about a week before the session over to Narrows of the Harpeth to check it out, and absolutely loved it. It’s the perfect place for cuddling with all the fun nature and adventure vibes, and these two were just so precious and sweet the entire time. Plus, we only saw four other people the entire time — we had the entire place to ourselves! (If you’ve never been, head over there!! It’s super cute and beautiful).
Rachel and Chris are SO SWEET. Together they are silly as can be, but also very intentional and kind. They sang Disney and High School Musical songs (in baby voices), danced the tango, hopped rocks in order to grab some photos in front of the waterfall, and just had the best with each other. And I think that’s my favorite thing about this session — seeing how comfortable these two were in the arms of their loved one. These two were so free to be themselves because they felt safe and comfortable in the hands of the other person. It melted my heart. AJKFDSFJKLSAHDLJKFHLK.
I’m just so blessed and thankful to have met these two, and I’m excited for future third wheeling dates because these two need to stay in my life! What a sweet sweet time with some new friends. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed taking them 🙂
