Graduation Session | Belmont University, Nashville, TN

I’m realizing I might be more of an extrovert than I originally thought, because before this session I was soooo tired and sleepy, but once I met Brooke and Sandy, I literally became so overjoyed and excited! Or maybe that’s just the effect that these two have on those around them — I wouldn’t be surprised if so. These two are a bundle of JOY.

Brooke and her sweet mama, Sandy, were the BEST CLIENTS ever and I had so so much fun meeting them at Brooke’s alma mater — Belmont University, — and celebrating Brooke’s graduation this year! They held off graduation photos because Belmont rescheduled commencement until August, but since COVID-19 is still a thing, Belmont cancelled the entire event. However, that didn’t stop these two and they drove up from their home in Chattanooga to come hang out with me and wander around Belmont’s campus. What a joy!!

Andddd to make the weekend even crazier, Belmont was under a lot of deconstruction. If you didn’t know, Belmont University hosted the final 2020 presidential debate the Thursday before — about 72 hours before we were there. It was eerie and very cool to walk around the campus and realize that Donald Trump and Joe Biden had just walked around that area. The area was still covered in large banners proclaiming the event and one of the large quads was covered with post-debate infrastructure. It was interesting to work around the chaos of everything, but we still had lots of fun.

Brooke studied Graphic Design at Belmont and y’all it was so fun to hang out with her and her mama and walk around the campus and hear about their lives. They’ve been enjoying time with each other and their dogs during quarantine and making the most of their time.
