I really do love my job, and I know that’s a privilege because a lot of people don’t for various reasons. But the reason I love my job is BECAUSE I get to meet, chat, and hang out with so many amazing couples, like Maddy and Alexander. Guyz, let me just tell you that these two are unbelievably amazing — FUN, kind, hilarious, and just the best to hang out in Franklin with.
Maddy and Alexander actually went to middle and high school together and were really good friends back then. They even went to prom together twice! Butttt they never had a “thing” in high school and just stayed friends (how crazy is that? Prom twice, getting married now, but never had a thing together in high school). After high school, the two of them went their separate ways to different colleges, but then both ended up transferring to The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (for different reasons) for their sophomore year of college. When they learned that the other person was transferring as well, they reconnected and started chatting.
HOW FREAKING CUTE?
Oh, and at the last minute, right before classes started, they ended up getting a place together with Alexander’s best friend. I love this, because my favorite part of how they met is that their first date was actually just an activity that they would normally do as friends — eating pizza in the apartment while watching a movie. However, it was awkward because they knew it was a first date and a different vibe altogether, but everything worked out and they haven’t looked back since 🙂
Our session was so fun and just a wonderful little teaser for their wedding day in October. We spent the afternoon at Downtown Franklin, wandering around the city and taking photos by the beautiful walls and theatre. It’s such a cozy town, and if you haven’t been there on a date with your SO, definitely take some time and head over! After that, we drove over to The Park at Harlinsdale Farm and took some stunning photos and watched the sunset. It was a MARVELOUS evening.
I loved this session and I’m so excited to hang with Maddy and Alexander in a few short months at their wedding in Mt. Juliet. What sweet NUGGETS!!
