Wedding | The Robinshaw Weddings and Events, Rossville (Memphis), Tennessee

I’ve known Carter since we were kids – our families grew up going to the same church and high school. Butttt fast forward many years, I was at another wedding (The Stayskals!! some of my favorite friends) and their pre-marital counseling was done by Carter’s parents! We sat next to each other at the wedding, and it was a sweet time of catching up — and they ended up loving the photos I took that night as well!

A few weeks later I get an inquiry, and it was from Carter and Maggie. I FaceTimed them and MAN we all hit it off so well! It was wonderful to see Carter again and to meet Maggie — quite possibly the sweetest and kindest and most selfless and generous woman I ever met. Also, I feel like people who share my favorite color (yellow) are the best people, so really we were just soul sisters.

Their wedding day was full of JOY and celebration (cue Carter’s cousins busting up the dance floor and the light-up glasses that were a sensational hit) and Maggie looked stunning and perfect in her beautiful gown. We danced under twinkle lights for some of their photos, threw Maggie and Carter up in the air during the reception, and truly just had an unforgettable evening.

Maggie and Carter, photographing your wedding was such a JOY and I would do it all over again just to hang out with you guys. You guys truly threw an epic party that was fully centered on Christ and I know everyone had an amazing and sweet time 🙂 Here’s to the Myers!!
