EEP — Katelyn and Andrew are ENGAGED and mannnn aren’t they just so precious?
I met Katelyn a few years ago — we went to the same high school back in the day and we were even in the same friend group! Katelyn has always been fun, hilarious, beautiful and compassionate, and it’s so fun to see her grow in college and in adulting and watch her as she interacts with sweet Andrew!
Andrew and Katelyn met when they both were working for the same company. Andrew had already been there for a while, but when he saw Katelyn, he knew he had to make a move. He smoothly asked her if she wanted to grab some Chipotle for lunch with him, Katelyn accepted, and then Andrew changed his mind and said that he actually had a meeting on the day they were planning for and would she consider having dinner instead. Katelyn, not seeing the flirting signs, agreed and didn’t think much of it, until she told a couple of her friends later that week. Her friends told her that it was in fact a date and so Katelyn just went along with it.
The date obviously went well, and these two decided on Preservation Park for their second date — which was our first location for their engagement photos! They walked up to the top of this hill with an incredible view (obviously getting incredibly lost on the way) and had a little picnic together…while watching a photographer capture a family session nearby. And now, a year and a half later, we are back taking their sweet and precious engagement photos here, with some beautiful snowfall, too. God is good.
These two are absolutely incredible and so FUN and it’s been fun to get to know Andrew’s silly and hilarious and sweet self as well. I’m so FREAKING excited for these two to get married this September at one of my all time favorite venues (The Chapel at Firefly Lane), but I’m just honored to be there to photograph their wedding!!
Andrew & Katelyn, thanks for letting me third wheel you guys and drag you all around Franklin in the freezing cold! You guys are troopers and are just SO fun to spend time with 🙂 Thanks for inviting me into y’all’s lives!! It’s a joy to know you both. CHEERS TO THE FUTURE STANSFIELDS!!!
