A whole day to celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Alexander and Maddy Newman? Um, yes PLEASE!!
These two met in middle school but didn’t really talk until the end of eighth grade. Their freshman year of high school is when they really started to become friends (during band!. On bus rides Alexander and Keaton would sit by Missy and Maddy and the four of them became really close. Alexander and Maddy even went to prom together for both junior and senior year!
But after high school the two of them went to different colleges. Over their Christmas break they hung out and learned that they were both transferring over to the University of Chattanooga. Fast forward a couple of years, and the two of them started dating at the end of their junior years of college and they’ve been together ever since!
Middle school to college — I love how full circle their love story is. Who would have thought way back in middle school that they would end up loving each other so deeply and complementing each other so well and get married in a few years? LIKE WHATTTTT.
These two are just absolutely incredible and sweet and kind people — like seriously. They live to serve those around them with such generosity and joy and love and being with them is just a refreshing pause from the rest of the world. I’ve loved getting to know them during this season of engagement (and eating sushi with Maddy! and hopefully some good thai soon) and just hearing about their lives and the cool things they do together. They’re seriously just both a JOY and I’m so excited that they are now married and taking on the world together.
So three cheers to the Newmans and the intentionality and sweetness and kindness and compassion that they bring to the world. Here’s to forever and ever!
