Anniversary Session | Ellington Agricultural Center, Nashville, TN
These two are REMARKABLE humans. Oh man, where do I even start?
A little more than a year and a half ago, MG texts me out of the blue, asking me if I would want to be their wedding photographer. I FREAKED OUT. Like no joke. I remember I was cooking food and I burnt whatever I was making. I was just SO EXCITED.
I had shot weddings before The Hardison wedding, but this was my first wedding with just me and a full day of shooting. I knew what to expect, but also knew that it was going to be quite different than what I had done before. I met MG at Panera to just catch up and hear about who this Casey guy was (hahaha) and we started to plan this entire thing out.
A year ago to the week, I visited their venue for the first time — I got to see all the areas and my photographer brain took over with all the ideas for the wedding day. I spent the next week preparing — memorizing names, practicing, looking at wedding inspiration, and more. I loved every second of it.
And then their wedding day happened. And it went absolutely marvelously, and now we have Mr. and Mrs. Hardison — two of the funniest, goofiest, kindest, and best humans around — UNITED.
(If you don’t remember these two, or want to see some of their wedding photos, click here to head over to their wedding day blog! There’s a ton of photos and just sweet stories from how I know MG (woo! we love background stories!!).)
Anyway, I reached out to MG about a month ago, asking her if she and Casey would be down to do a fun little (free!) anniversary session with me, as a token of my appreciation for letting me be a part of her wedding day. Andddd of course she said yes! We set a date and y’all, these two are just the best. We had so much fun frolicking around, Casey came up with some AMAZING photo ideas, and it was just SO sweet to be able to celebrate their one year of marriage together with some SNAZZY photos!
I’m just so thankful for these two. They have the best personalities and are just so caring and wonderful, and they trusted me to document one of the biggest events of their lives. Check out these photos, and make sure you take a second to check out their wedding photos as well!
