Wedding | The Pick Inn, Gallatin, TN | Second Shot with Abbey Hunter

Y’all. This wedding was just everything and so much more.

Intimate. Beautiful. Sweet. Joyful. A PARTAY.

I had the lovely opportunity to second shoot for one of my favorite photographers and favorite people ever, Abbey Hunter, and at one of my now favorite venues, The Pick Inn.

Y’all. The Pick Inn is literally THE most gorgeous venue ever (definitely in my top five favorite Nashville area venues) with the kindest people running it. Amanda, who coordinates your day, actually got married at The Pick Inn in 2015, and they ended up buying The Pick Inn and renovating it to create the beauty that it is today. Amanda is a jack of all trades — a professional boutonniere helper, master organizer, and is with you the entire day coordinating your wedding. Pro Tip: When you find a wedding venue, make sure they treat you like a human (like The Pick Inn does), and not a money-making item. Amanda is so personable and kind, you’ll feel at home just being at this venue!!

The Pick Inn encloses a huge area of land and there were so many beautiful shaded spots for photos at this summer wedding (yes, we were all sweating the entire day). When I pulled into the gravel drive, the first thing I noticed was the amount of deer. The Pick Inn actually feeds the deer there on a regular basis, to the point that you could see about twenty deer during the ceremony, just chilling in the back. It felt so natural and beautiful and I honestly can’t applaud this venue enough. CHECK IT OUT!!

This ceremony to celebrate the unity of Richie and Scarlett was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Scarlett (who is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS holy cow) wore the MOST beautiful dress I have ever seen, with the cutest lace train ever from Fabulous Frocks of Nashville. I think I told her several times that day that I couldn’t get over her dress and I was truly just obsessed with all of her wedding details. The bridesmaids wore the most beautiful blue dresses from Azazie, and they cheered so loud at Richie’s response to seeing Scarlett for the first time. #dreamy

My favorite detail about their wedding day? Scarlett and Richie included their lovely dog, Alfie, into their bride and groom photos and even their ceremony. The best man even walked down the aisle with Alfie! Alfie sat in the front during the entire ceremony, smiled during all of his photos, and was the cutest nugget to ever walk the face of the earth. BRING YOUR DOGS TO YOUR WEDDING. BRING YOUR DOGS TO YOUR SESSION. They are seriously the best and bring out the BEST parts of everyone.
