Jackson and Sarang got engaged wayyyy back in June of last year, and we took engagement photos back in October (check out that day here). They planned their wedding for May of this year, but with Covid, they’ve had to postpone their wedding to 2022.
Now most couples would feel annoyed and frustrated with Covid, and feel like their entire world was crumbling, but not these two. These two have gracefully rolled with the punches, have found the joys amidst all the change of this season, and have just kept killing it at life! I’m so incredibly honored to be a part of their team because WOW — having such amazing humans as clients who just enjoy life and live it to the fullest is a dream come true. I’m so amazed and inspired by these two on a regular basis.
BUT OKAY. THIS SESSION. GUYS. IT WAS SO FREAKING MAGICAL. Like holy cow WOW — everyone needs photos in the snow, preferably by a frozen pond, at some time in their lives. Your jaw will drop (and break and fall to the floor) because you won’t be able to realize how stunning you look in every photo!! Sarang’s reaction to her gallery is also my favorite, and this time she said (in multiple texts), “OMG OMG” “CHECKING NOW” “ANGEL THESE ARE AMAZING” “like literally MAGICAL” “You are SO talented” “LITERALLY” “Okay it’s official snow shoots are the BEST” “Also you’re the best but we already knew that ❤️❤️”.
OKAY. Like I love affirming words, but I love Sarang and Jackson even MORE and these photos just honestly speak for themselves. First off, their choice of wardrobe was SPOT ON. Like wow, I feel like they walked casually out of Vogue and into my life and I’m just obsessed (I loveeee the neutrals that they wore, because it helped to focus the session on THEM and just added depth to the photos!!). Secondly, the location with the half melted snow was PERFECT, along with the beautiful lighting #goldenhour. And the frozen pond was just the icing on the cake right before we took some sunset photos in the field.
All in all, a VERY magical day. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed taking them!
